What is Tutoring?

Tutoring is where a tutor gives individual, or in some cases small group help, guidance and instruction.
The main advantage of tutoring is that it provides personal attention and not a one-size-fits-all approach like classroom or group learning as we can solve problems at your pace and at a time that is mutually convenient.
The purpose of tutoring is to help people help themselves, by this we mean that they are guided or assisted to a solution of a problem in a simple and clear way as possible. We do not provide "answers," but rather assist in problem solving to the point where a tutor is no longer needed.

About me (the Tutor)

I am polite, patient, friendly and experience (having worked in the computer industry for over 30 years). I've tutored a large variety of people, from the young to the elderly and people with disabilities. There is a saying “there is more than one way to skin a cat” and in computing there is more than one way to solve a particular problem, what I do is work with you to find the best one that suits you.
I’m happy to provide 1-1 or small group tutoring to people who wanted a tutor to come to them, learn on their own computer and receive flexible tuition to suit their needs.
